Safe Passage: The I-40 Pigeon River Gorge Wildlife Crossing Project is a collaborative effort to collect data, plan, and help implement wildlife crossings along a 28-mile stretch of highway in western North Carolina and east Tennessee. Our team manages communications, publicity and outreach for the coalition, growing local support of the project to protect humans and wildlife alike.
